The Nook - Winnipeg: Reviews & Ratings
I've been planning to visit this spot for over six months on my Google map, and yesterday I finally got to have breakfast there. I think it's worth it, because I feel like it gives you a good vibe. Their breakfast might not be the best, but I'd definitely recommend this place for a good time with your friends or family.
Best breakfast in town, hands down. Prices are very reasonable for big portions. Always fresh food and great coffee. The patio is the place to. E in summer! Best part about this place? The Staff are wonderful and you'll leave feeling like one of the family. Go eat here!
The Nook is a great local restaurant. It serves wholesome meals and big portions. We highly recommend this restaurant!
We decided to try the Nook Diner on a whim after passing by the night before. What a great choice. The whole diner gives a small cozy vibe. With the open kitchen you can see and hear everything, which adds to the experience. Staff are fantastic and the guy cooking (the owner?) is very welcoming. Portions are great and taste is even better. This is a must try!
I visited the Nook and it has quite the history behind it. The shingled roof over the oven brought back the era of when the restaurant was an original Salisbury House restaurant and that is going back a ways. The staff were excellent and I could tell they all enjoyed their work. Home cooked meals are worth the pleasure to visit this unique neighbourhood restaurant . Enjoy!
A thoroughly enjoyable local diner. Have enjoyed many times with good experiences every time. The particular visit that the photos are from was a nice light meal with a good hearty bowl of soup.
This is a family run place which makes it very cozy and welcoming. The food is made by the owner and is clearly made with love! We had breakfast and a classic dinner drip coffee. The food was super good and very fast efficient service. Highly recommend
I love that places like this still exist; a classic diner with the food being prepared right off to the side. I had the corned beef eggs Benedict with hashbrowns, and everything was fantastic. I’m a huge fan of shredded hashbrowns when they are done right, and these were done right with the perfect balance of soft and crisp on the outside. The coffee was great and my cup was never empty because of an attentive server.
